This was the kind of flight I like , well controlled all the way , nicely executed. although I did not manage to pull off the full Auto land that I had prepared for this flight . for some reason the FMC could not accomplish the altitude steps and I had to intervene manually for the last part of the descent profile . . the speed control however was perfect . so was the landing , even though the figure does not show it. online even though no ATC . The city of Great falls was only relatively interesting place compared to what Ive seen so far of the States. Its really strange but the area has a kind of really cold yet dry climate for a mountainous area . it should be much greener that it actually is . what with all those rivers and water. here are a few interesting tidbits I learn t about Great Falls: 1.Apparently the Airport KGTF houses the Largest Model Airplane Collection in the World 2. The river is nicknamed "Big Muddy" and also "Dark River" because of the high silt content. Missouri River 3.
